I owe you guys a quick tutorial on how to upgrade your Powkiddy Rk2023 to run new custom firmware, so here goes!

Step 1: Prepare Your SD Cards
Get two new SD cards: a 32GB for firmware and a 128GB for games. Keep your original SD cards as backups. KEXIN and SanDisk are recommended brands.

Step 2: Get a USB to MicroSD Converter
Buy a USB-to-microSD converter if you don't have one. It's essential for connecting your SD cards to your PC.

Step 3: Remove Existing SD Cards
Remove any SD cards from your Powkiddy 2023 and set them aside, noting which card was in which slot.

Step 4: Download Custom Firmware
Download the RockNix firmware for the RK2023 from GitHub. A link is provided below.

Visit the ARKOS GitHub page and download the latest firmware for the Powkiddy 2023, preferably from the Google Drive link. Ignore any warnings if you're comfortable doing so.

Step 5: Unzip the Firmware File
Unzip the downloaded firmware file. If you can't open it, use 7-Zip to extract the contents to your desktop.

Step 6: Write the Firmware to the SD Card
Insert your new SD card into the USB-to-microSD converter, then plug it into your PC.

Step 7: Use a Flash Drive Writer
Open your preferred flash drive writer software (e.g., Rufus). Select the correct drive and write the firmware to the SD card.

Step 8: Insert the SD Card into Your Powkiddy 2023
Remove the SD card from the converter and insert it into the leftmost SD slot of your Powkiddy 2023.

Step 9: Power On Your Powkiddy 2023
Turn on your Powkiddy 2023 and let it initialize. It will go through several steps and reboots. Ensure the device has enough battery to complete the process. Wait until the setup is clearly done.

Step 10: Turn Off Your System

For RockNIX:
If you have an SD card loaded with games from your Powkiddy,
insert it into the right slot and boot up. You should be ready to go. If your game SD isn't organized, connect it to your PC, create a folder named "roms," and move all game files into it. Insert this card into the left slot of your Powkiddy and boot up to see your games.

If You Don't Have a Game-Filled SD Card:
1. Create a New Game SD:
Insert a new SD card into your PC, format it to exFAT, and put it in the right slot of your Powkiddy. Boot up to let RockNix create the necessary directories.

2. Fill the Directories:
Eject the SD card from your Powkiddy and insert it into your computer. Populate the ROMs and BIOS directories with your game files.

For ARKOS:
1. Accessing the Games Folder:
Remove the SD card from your Powkiddy and insert it into your PC. Look for the "EasyRoms" drive.
Copying ROMs and BIOS Files:
2. Copy your ROMs and BIOS files into the appropriate directories within "EasyRoms." If you don't have BIOS files, they can be easily found online.

Using the Second SD Slot for Games:
If you prefer to use the second SD slot (left slot) for games instead of having both firmware and games on the same SD card, follow these steps:

1. Format the New SD Card:
Use Rufus on your PC to format the new SD card to FAT32.
Insert the SD Card:

2. Insert the formatted SD card into the right SD slot of your Powkiddy 2023.
Configure the Device:

3. Turn on your Powkiddy, go to "Options," select "Advanced," and choose "Switch to main SD for ROMs." Let the device complete the process.
Fill the Directories:

4. Eject the SD card from your Powkiddy, insert it into your computer, and populate the ROM and BIOS directories.
