Chicago Woman Set on Fire in Horrifying Train Attack

Twenty-six-year-old Bethany MaGee was riding home on a Chicago Blue Line train when she was suddenly doused in gasoline and set on fire in a completely unprovoked attack. Police say the suspect, 50-year-old Lawrence Reed, has a staggering criminal history—more than 70 arrests, multiple felony convictions, and was even out on bond for another violent crime. MaGee, a Purdue graduate from a close-knit Indiana family, is now fighting for her life in the hospital.
