Who is this guy anyway?

After nearly 30 years in sales and management in the swimming pool industry, I decided to pursue a longtime passion in technology and design. I went back to school for software development, learning nine programming languages, including Objective-C and Swift, as an Apple Applications Developer. I built mobile apps for brands like BMW, Bank of America, and Family Dollar while mastering graphic design, UI/UX, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Today, I am back in the swimming pool business, working full-time from home as a District Sales Manager for a pool equipment manufacturer, traveling regularly. I’m also a proud husband, dad to five kids (three are stepkids), and human dad of three dogs and a guinea pig.

Video editing became a creative outlet that merged my tech skills with storytelling. What started as a personal challenge soon turned into a passion. Viewers loved my content for its smooth transitions, engaging captions, and natural delivery.

My first content attempt was nerve-wracking, with countless takes and plenty of trial and error. Over time, I discovered a love for storytelling through video and developed skills in platforms like CapCut, Adobe, and DaVinci Resolve.

People began asking how I created engaging videos with seamless transitions and compelling captions. That feedback fueled my journey into teaching video editing, leading me here. I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned so you can create powerful content with confidence!
