Tuberculous is a major infectious disease named Mycobacterium tuberculous, that mostly affects the lungs. The bacteria that cause tuberculosis spreads from person to person via tiny droplets released into the air through coughs and sneezes. Types of TB (tuberculous) such as exposure, latent, and active disease.
Symptoms of active TB that involves coughing for three or more weeks are:
Fever
Night sweats
Chills
Loss of appetite
Chest pain
Coughing up blood, etc.,
It also affects other body parts such as the kidneys, the spine, and the brain. At the time of consultation, the doctor may recommend a skin test for tuberculous. In Skin Test, a small amount of a substance named tuberculin is injected into the skin of your forearm. You may feel only a slight needle prick.
Risk factors that weaken your Immune system include:

Diabetes
Severe kidney disease
Certain cancers
Low body weight.
Patients with active symptoms will need a long course of treatment with multiple antibiotics.
