Cat In The Act is a 1957 *Herman and Katnip* animated short released on February 22, 1957 by *Famous Studios* and distributed by Paramount Pictures, featuring the classic cat‑versus‑mouse duo Herman the mouse and Katnip the cat in Technicolor. In this cartoon, Herman takes his nephew *Murgatroyd* on a sightseeing tour of Paramount’s Hollywood studio, only for the timid boy to be frightened by various “jungle animals” and odd happenings.
