Transiting Controlled Airspace | PPL Training Flight with ATC Communication

Embark on my latest PPL training adventure! Join me on a flight, captured on November 11, 2023, where I tackled Exercise 18 - Navigation, under the guidance of my instructor Pawel from North Weald Flight Training.

In this video, we planned a route from North Weald EGSX to Chipping Ongar, Witham, Southend Airport, Chipping Ongar, and back to North Weald EGSX. The highlight of this flight was our transit through the challenging Class D Southend Controlled Airspace.

I focused on radio-phraseology as we communicated with ATC, requesting zone transit and navigating through controlled airspace. Before obtaining clearance to enter Southend Controlled airspace, we circled over Moldon with a series of 360s.
