作品について / Program notes:
すぎなみ彩楽ウインドシンフォニー2015年委嘱作品。
クラリネットの透き通る、軽妙な、歌うような、またドラマチックな音を活かし、同じ機能の楽器を７台集めた作品が創れないかとの依頼を受けて創作しました。
1つずつの「ピクセル」(PC用語で画像表示される点)がつながりあって、様々な音楽の紋様を立体的に描きます。 冒頭の点描のようなパッセージから、１本線のメロディがしだいにポップに、またスウィンギーに、表情をつけ、歌い出し、感情を持ち、踊り、流麗なカーブを描き、最後に華やかなファンファーレを奏でます。

Commissioned by Suginami SYA-RAK Wind Symphony in 2015.
I was asked to write a piece for seven clarinets featuring a lively, clear and dramatic character of the clarinet. The inspiration for the work came from pixels (basic unit of a digital image). They combine to make a variety of three-dimensional musical shapes in this case.
The introduction is like a sketch, and the melody gradually develops to be popish and swingy. It reflects different types of expressions, songs and feelings creating a variety of lines and curves. It finally achieves a climactic fanfare.
