Shops are closed, the streets are empty, and the quickest way to see it is a tram ride down Swanston Street. This video shows you both directions, up and down Swanston Street, so you can see what it looks like at the moment. It is a bit shaky at points - your videographer used a simple handheld iPhone in lieu of the usual gimbal.
This video was taken on the way to exercise, which is permitted as part of stage 4 lockdown restrictions.
