Welcome to my reaction video where I watch Francis Ford Coppola's hallucinatory Vietnam War epic, Apocalypse Now (1979) for the first time. This homage to cinema explores the themes of PTSD, morality, and the darkness in humanity.

Martin Sheen takes centre stage as we witness a fictional travelogue through the nightmares of warfare, and this leads us to the monumental conclusion with Marlon Brando. What a cast! The faces of these men will stick in your mind for a long while after the film ends.

The acting is superb whilst the story is vast, brutal and brilliantly filmed. Apocalypse Now fully deserved to win Best Cinematography & Best Sound Mixing at the 1980 Academy Awards.
