I let the carriage bolt chimes take me away... allow me to take you with me. I use open intervals along with dynamic vibrato to make us think. I use two mallet hardnesses to have variety. Use your imagination; the marimba seems to come from nowhere... (I didn't capture the camera angle from the front).
