📖Creamy Cheesy Chicken Pasta Recipe:
Ingredients:
250 grams pasta
Salt, for cooking pasta
Olive oil
1 whole onion, diced
500 grams chicken breast, diced
200 grams Gouda cheese, grated
200 grams Cheddar cheese, grated
Optional: 1-2 tablespoons butter
250 ml cooking cream
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley leaves, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the 250 grams of pasta and cook according to package directions until. Drain well and set aside. For best results, you can toss the drained pasta with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.
2. Sauté the Chicken:
Pour a little olive oil into a large skillet or pan. Add your diced 500 grams chicken breast. Sauté until the chicken releases its liquid. You can add 1-2 tablespoons of butter at this stage for extra flavor. Continue cooking until all the liquid has evaporated, then continue frying until the chicken pieces are beautifully golden brown. Transfer the cooked chicken to a bowl and set aside.
3. Sauté the Onion:
In the same pan, again add a little olive oil. Add your diced onion and sauté over medium heat until it becomes soft and translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
4. Create the Cream Sauce:
Pour 250 ml cooking cream onto the sautéed onion. Stir well to combine. Season the cream sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer.
5. Combine with Pasta:
Add the drained pasta to the creamy onion sauce. Mix thoroughly, ensuring all the pasta is coated evenly with the cream.
6. Add the Cheese:
Gradually add the grated Gouda and Cheddar cheeses to the pasta. Stir continuously until the cheese has completely melted and become wonderfully gooey and stringy.
7. Finish with Chicken:
Now, add the cooked chicken back into the pan. Mix it into the pasta and sauce according to your preference.
8. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle generously with fresh, chopped parsley leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Creamy Cheesy Chicken Pasta!
