Jenu Kuruba Tribe | Tribes of India

Prasar Bharati Archives presents Tribes of India series.

The Jenu Kuruba are a tribal group from the Nilgiris. They are concentrated in the Kodagu and Mysore districts of Karnataka. They speak the Jenu Kurumba language, either classified as being related to Kodava or a rural dialect of Kannada.
