JEPY - SUPERIOR HIGH DIVIDEND INCOME ETF on the S&P500 (57%)

I've been covering some the best ETFs for dividend income.
Ones that have the highest dividend yields and are not dividend traps.

I find that day by day, Income ETFs are becoming a lot more popular, with new ones being announced almost every month, which is very exciting. Considering the current recessionary climate High income alternatives are becoming more and more important.

And each one has their own take on income generation. So i try my best to find these new ETFs, and evaluate them.

Now The majority of these high Dividend ETFs often use a very similar strategy.

And that is to sell covered calls against there underlying holdings in order to generate premium. And that premium is then distributed to investors in the form of a dividend yield. Upwards of 10 to 12%.

And these ETFs are known as covered call ETFs.

But recently a new fund has taken an entirely new approach on income generation, using a very unique method where they use put options as opposed to call options, creating a series of ETFs that generate astronomical dividend yields, upwards of 50%. Which is insane.

Now I did review an etf a week ago that uses the same strategy, but there are some major differences with regards to risk that needs to be addressed and investor need to know about.
So what is this new method? And most importantly, is it a dividend trap?

This is where things get really interesting.
