Описание:
A spectacular flight, in sometimes quite rough, powerful spring thermals, (perhaps combined with convergence from the valleys?), taking off from the upper, 'heather' launch on the S side of the Glyderau, and flying to the Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon massif, and back twice; a two hour flight with maximum altitude 6.4k' asl!
I was accompanied on the second out and return by Hugo, and flew with other pilots, including Ian, Nige and Simon. Some other impressive flights also made on this day. I have been waiting quite a few years for the opportunity to repeat this adventure, with quite a few failures along the way!
