Lacquer, also known as Chinese lacquer, is produced in the Yangtze River valley in China, and because of the presence of the lacquer tree, an ancient plant, lacquer has been written into the history of Chinese civilization, just like bronze and porcelain. In Chengkou County in the Daba Mountains, where generations of ancestors have been engaged in cutting lacquer. They have two children, a daughter who always comes home to help during the lacquer cutting season and a son who works far away in Wanxian County, cutting lacquer is a hard and humble job, but the old Chen couple enjoys this simple and simple life.
生漆又名中国漆，出产于中国的长江流域，因为漆树这种古老植物的存在，漆器如同青铜器和瓷器一样被写进了中国的文明史。在大巴山区澄口县，这里祖祖辈辈都从事割漆工作。这里有一对夫妇，二十多年来他们靠割漆为生，他们有两个孩子，女儿在割漆季节总会回家帮忙，儿子远在万县县城工作，割漆是一种艰苦而且卑微的工作，但老陈夫妇却乐于享受这种简单质朴的生活。
