Finland's blue and white flag and lion-boasting coat of arms are dear to the nation. They were approved as the country's official symbols a hundred years ago after Finland gained her independence. This video examines the history of both, and suggests (humorously, don't start tying any hangman's nooses) new designs for the Finnish flag and coat of arms.
