This documentary series, which ran exclusively on VH1, looks at famous music acts and their devoted fans—including this episode of AC/DC, featuring five unique fans around the country and the world. This is the last in a series of four.
Kurt Squiers, an ad agency and creative director is one of those AC/DC zealots who attempts to balance family life, a professional career and his love for the band in this hour long episode. Kurt's feature was used to bookend this AC/DC episode, following him at home, work, as 'The AC/DC Guy' on 102.9 WBLM and traveling to an AC/DC show in Boston to meet the band backstage for the first time with his wife, Andrea.
The series, created by executive producer Joe Berlinger, and directed by Steve Jones, also featured such other artists as Metallica, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Sting, Kid Rock and Motley Crue. AC/DC FanClub aired early 2001 and was the highest rated episode in the series.
