Luxury Yarn from Scraps & a Dye Fail 💫:
Not all luxury yarns start with perfect plans. In this video, I hand-card mohair, cashmere, alpaca, and other high-end fiber scraps from past knitting projects into spinnable clouds. Then I spin a single and ply it with two others spun from a not-so-successful black chickpea dye experiment, using silk, superfine merino, and mohair. The result? A surprisingly elegant 3-ply yarn with depth, texture, and character — and absolutely nothing wasted.
