Pothuvedhi | Corporation Mayor Election | ഇനി വിവി രാജേഷ് തലസ്ഥാന ന​ഗരിയുടെ നാഥൻ. തിരുവനന്തപുരം കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍ മേയറായി വിവി രാജേഷിനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. 51 വോട്ടുകള്‍ നേടിയാണ് വിജയിച്ചത്. 50 ബിജെപി അംഗങ്ങളുടെയും ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്രന്‍റെയും വോട്ടുകളാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. യുഡിഎഫിന്‍റെ കെ എസ് ശബരീനാഥന് 17 വോട്ടുകളാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. എൽഡിഎഫിന്റെ മേയർ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി ആർ പി ശിവജിക്ക് 29 വോട്ടുകളാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം തിലകമണിഞ്ഞെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രസഹമന്ത്രി സുരേഷ്ഗോപി പ്രതികരിച്ചു. എം ആർ ഗോപനാണ് വി വി രാജേഷിൻ്റെ പേര് നിർദേശിച്ചത്. വി ജി ഗിരികുമാർ പിൻതാങ്ങി.

V. V. Rajesh is now the head of the state capital. He has been elected as the Mayor of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. Rajesh won with 51 votes, securing the support of 50 BJP councillors and one independent member. UDF candidate K. S. Sabarinathan received 17 votes, while LDF mayoral candidate R. P. Shivaji secured 29 votes.
