This is a regular season game from 2002 between the Lakers and Celtics that ended in controversial fashion.
Upon reviewing the video of this game, some said that Kobe's fingertip was still touching the ball when the clock hit 0. What's surprising is that the Boston commentator (Tommy Heinsohn) even said it was off in time, and Tommy is usually very biased against non-Celtics players and teams. But the fact that even he admitted that Kobe got it off says something.
It's almost impossible to tell for sure just using the film I had to make this video. Phil Jackson said "It was close, probably the only good call they made all night."
"It felt good to me," Bryant said. "I thought it was off before the horn sounded because I always listen for the horn to
make sure I got the shot off. From what I understand, it was the one official, Sean Corbin, who decided to wave it off."
It was as close as you could possibly get on a last second field goal. Either way, we can consider this to be another example of Kobe's brilliance down the stretch, even though he came up short by less than a TENTH of a second.

I made a mistake in this video - Kobe had 6 game winners in the 2010 season, Mavericks included. I just remember it not counting as a standard gamewinner because the Lakers got free throws afterward. But it's 6 total for the year.
