Step 2: Beat up Forest Bandits until they join you
Step 3: Train your prisoners to create an elite Fian army
Step 4: Keep getting invited to some event called The Gathering
Step 5: There can be only one (society)

Greetings Highlander! Follow the adventures of Duncan MacLeod as he shoots and slices his way across Calradia. Battanians live in a society that do not rely on the typical cavalry trees that other factions enjoy. Instead they use strong skirmisher infantry, deadly two-handed falxmen, and their bread and, dare I say, butter; the Battanian Fians. Amongst noble units in Bannerlord, Fians stand out the most as the sole infantry tree with extremely high athleticism paired with the just as impressive two-handed and archery stat-lines. Fians can snowball with high numbers like their Khuzait Khan's Guard counterparts. Each having their own pros and cons over each other. The lack of a mount will let horse archers run circles around them if they do not have high enough numbers to inflict mass casualties immediately. Alternatively, Fians rule sieges since they deal more damage per arrow thanks to their bows and their high athletics skills make them one of the fastest if not the fastest unit in the game.
