Magnificent countryside for motorcycling around the Queensland - New South Wales border region. A special ride for me - catching up with Toby - an old mate who I hadn't seen for decades. The guy who got me inspired into motorcycling over 30 years ago. And this trip together really delivered - spectacular riding country, forest, plains, windy roads and mountains - it had it all, even snakes. Toby is still riding Moto Guzzi's (he had a beautiful 1978 (?) 850 Le Mans Mk I when we worked together in the early 1990's), but now on a 2016 Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer. Back then I pottered around on a Suzuki DR 250..... much easier to keep up with him this time on a 2011 BMW R1200R Classic. I hope you enjoy - we had a lot of fun capturing this footage in a special part of the world, and then putting it all together. Hoping we've captured just a scintilla of the joy of the open road on a bike....
