Removing the throttle body and testing the Throttle Position Sensor. Should be similar for 2012 through 2019(?) and similar KTM models I recommend finding a buddy with an oscilloscope for the testing part, otherwise use an analog meter. Ideally you should use the Taco Moto tuning harness to connect to the pins available at:

I just used gator clips, but regardless, make sure to use a 1000 ohm or greater resistor in series so you do not damage the sensor.
