I am officially a turn-coat. I have never been an advocate of sports bikes with straight bars... To me sports bikes were those with clip on bars, a hunched riding position, bum in the air, neck arched.... and tourers were bikes with straight bars, sit-up riding position, comfort in mind, and never the twain should mix... not any more.
The GSX-S1000F offers hooliganism to the gentleman... sedate and elegant when it needs to be, but utterly bonkers when it doesn't.
Great tyres, great brakes, the 2005-2008 Gixxer engine, and a big ****-off grin for the rider!!!
