Paul Thomas Anderson is an American filmmaker. His films have been nominated for 25 Academy Awards, winning three for cast and crew.
He is known for his films Boogie Nights (1997) and There Will Be Blood. Anderson's other films include Magnolia (1999), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), The Master (2012), Inherent Vice (2014), and Phantom Thread (2017).
