When equipped with the front mount oil cooler, the oil no longer passes through the factory heat exchanger. Instead, it bypasses the engine coolant circuit entirely — allowing the **radiator to focus solely on cooling engine water**. This leads to improved overall thermal performance and reliability in hot-weather or race conditions.
