In this video, I will talk about the hidden pain behind milk production. Most people see milk as healthy and pure, but very few know how much cows and buffaloes suffer for it.

Today, animals are forced into unnatural practices. They are given injections and chemicals to produce more milk, kept in small dirty places, and tied up with hardly any freedom to move. Calves are often taken away from their mothers soon after birth, which causes pain and stress for both. Male calves, since they can’t give milk, are usually left to die or killed.

Cows are made pregnant again and again so they keep giving milk. Machines are used roughly to take out milk, which hurts them and causes wounds and infections. Normally, cows can live 15–20 years, but because of this treatment, their life is reduced to just 5–7 years.
