SFV: Gill Tips - Beginner Combos

Want to learn how to play Gill but don't know where to start? Confused by all the combo videos are waffle? Don't know how to harmony good? Well this is the tutorial for you!

In this guide I will cover what I believe are the core (punish) combos to learn for Gill before going on to learn the trickier link combos and hit-confirms. I will also take a quick look at jump-ins, anti-airs and his V-Skills :)

Gill isn't exactly a beginner friendly character but the thing that makes him different is what I find makes him interesting and fun! Gill can also be played defensively and offensively. Make use of the burn and ice effects to extend combos and dish out juicy damage!

For beginners I would advise to use VS1 as parrying is an intermediate-advanced level skill, learn when to use it after knock downs for a bit of pressure. I would say VT1 is the damage option where VT2 is the set-up option but it's probably down to preference.
