J Fox 1/200 All Nippon Airways A321neo Unboxing and Review

I'll review this J Fox ANA A321neo in 10 categories.

This model comes with a typical J Fox box design with simple graphics. It’s clean, good looking and without unnecessary elements. To me, that’s a perfect match to ANA. With such a good protection foam, I'll give an 8. This J Fox comes with magnetic gear and a display stand. It also has this complimentary plastic keychain. All the 3 gear door covers are perfectly made. The nose gear door cover is remarkably well done. The plane has a very nice cruising angle for display. It’s easy to put on the gears. I’ll give a 9.

J Fox uses the Inflight200 moulds for its A320 family models. So, the shape of the nose is way better than JC’s and Gemini’s. The shape of the wings and of the sharklets are good and realistic. The horizontal stabilizer is also better than those of JC’s and Gemini’s. The forehead has the iconic edge on both sides around the cockpit. You really can’t find any obvious flaws. So, I’ll give a 9.

This pair of PW1100G engines is really good. The fan blades can rotate. The exhaust at the rear is very detailed. It has also presented the unique feature of PW1100G: its interior has a blue turquoise colour carbon titanium inner rim right in front of the fan. This detail is so impressive. I'll give engines a 9.

I'm happy with the build. The wings and the horizontal stabilizers are very well attached. The wings do not have gaps at the attachment with the fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is standing straight at 90-degree. I'll give a 9 for build.

It has captured the unique feature of the A320 family's landing gears, which is all 3 gearlegs do not stand 90 degrees vertically. J Fox has done a very nice job. I’ll give a 9. For details, all the lights, antennas, SATCOM are presented very well. The APU exhaust is very detailed and is way better than JC’s and Gemini’s. Yet the nose gear leg doesn’t have the landing lights. I’ll give details an 8.

This ANA livery reproduction is very impressive. All the logos and titles are precisely made. I don’t see any issues here. So, I’ll give a 10! The colours applied here are all very sharp and bright. We can use Aviationtag’s ANA skin as our colour reference. See, the dark blue is very accurate! I’ll give a 9.

There has been always a very high demand for ANA’s model in the East Asian market. Perhaps we’ll see new editions very soon in the near future. I think this first J Fox ANA edition deserves an 8.
