✅ How to Install an F-Connector (Step-by-Step)
1️⃣ Cut the cable straight
Make a clean cut so the connector fits properly.
2️⃣ Remove the outer jacket
Strip about 1.5 cm of the black outer layer.
3️⃣ Fold the copper braid backward
Push the copper braid over the cable jacket
(Important: it must not touch the center conductor).
4️⃣ Expose the white dielectric
Strip about 0.5 cm to reveal the center copper wire.
5️⃣ Attach the F-Connector
Insert the cable fully into the connector
Make sure the center copper wire sticks out 3–4 mm.
6️⃣ Tighten the connector
Twist it by hand (or use pliers) until it’s secure and doesn’t rotate.✔ Successful installation indicators
