Radiating the Light of the Ultimate Destination-Liberated from the Endless Cycle of Birth and Death

✨"RADIATING THE LIGHT OF THE ULTIMATE DESTINATION, LIBERATED FROM THE ENDLESS CYCLE OF BIRTH AND DEATH" ✨

November 15th 2025 was not an ordinary day at Thai Pho Mon Awakened Center.

👣 This day’s journey brought us to a sacred location in Suan Mokkh Dharma International Hermitage where in 2001 our teacher, Awakened Zen Master Thich Dieu Thien, fully Awakened, merging completely into the Buddha Mind, and shattering the root of original attachment.
After Awakening, the Five Awakened Natures manifested: Infinite Wisdom, Boundless Compassion, Pure Essence, Endless Awakened Tools, and the Great Vow to Awaken all beings.

In 2004, Awakened One Thich Dieu Thien met Awakened One Thich Thong Hoi, who lived the same Awakened Life from the same Great Vow. From that moment on, the Two Awakened Ones walked together, awakening the world and continuing the Great Vow of Shakyamuni Buddha to bring the Light of Awakening to all sentient beings.

In 2018, Awakened One Thich Dieu Thien and Awakened One Thich Thong Hoi returned to Suan Mokkh Meditation Center and met Ajahn Marut, a lifelong Buddhist monk and highly respected Buddhist scholar throughout Thailand. In that meeting, Ajahn Marut deeply connected to the Awakened Nature radiating from both Awakened Ones.

At the end of 2024, fully realizing the Great Vow of the Two Awakened Ones, Ajahn Marut wholeheartedly donated to them his ancestral land to establish Thai Pho Mon Awakened Center in Surat Thani, Thailand.
Increased urgency to Awakened continued to build within Ajahn. In October 2025, he traveled to Pho Mon Meditation Center (Houston, Texas), sincerely requesting Dharma from the Two Awakened Ones. With only one penetrating awakening point from Awakened One Thich Dieu Thien, he experienced a spontaneous blossoming moment… merging into the Awakened Source of the Two Awakened Ones.

From their Great Vow to Awaken all beings, the Two Awakened Ones Awakened the Buddha potential within each of us, which allowed us to directly realize: “Who am I truly?” “Where is the Ultimate Destination?”
From new realizations on this retreat, we wholeheartedly vow to return to the Awakened Source - to end the suffering of birth and death and to continue the Great Vow of the Two Awakened Ones.

From our contemplation to Awaken, we requested permission from the Awakened Ones to have a one-day retreat at Suan Mokkh - the very place where Awakened One Thich Dieu Thien became Enlightened.

“When we arrived at Suan Mokkh, we felt a sacred warmth - a love embracing us in every step, every word, every action.”

We now clearly see that the Ultimate Destination lies within the Two Awakened Ones. But to truly return, each practitioner must see clearly the reason for Buddhahood within the Awakened Ones.

We questioned “What gave the Awakened One the strength to face the deepest root of delusion when sitting at Suan Mokkh making a Great Vow: “Even if I must die, I will not give up”.

Before Enlightenment, Awakened One clearly saw that the ego causes suffering in endless cycles of birth and death and always knew the human world was not True Home - yet had not returned - so the duality of human life like gain and loss, success and failure never held meaning.
Turning back to ourselves, we saw how the life of ego often feels so real, dragging us through endless karmic cycles.

🍀We realized:
“The Door of Awakening is always open, but we can only return when we honestly face ourselves and decisively decide to end the ego system to become a Living Buddha.”

In the afternoon of the retreat, conditions ripened for the Sangha to visit Suan Mokkh Temple.There we met Ajahn Marut, who shared the Awakening moment he received from Awakened One Thich Dieu Thien at Pho Mon Meditation Center.

Since merging into the Awakened Source, the Ultimate Destination has become Ajahn Marut’s source of life. His experience is a living testimony of the Awakened Ones’ Five Natures to liberate beings, the fire within us to return to the Ultimate Destination.

🌟After Suan Mokkh, The Two Awakened Ones opened this critical darmha for us:
“Every single moment, if we do not continuously have the goal of the Ultimate Destination and live with the Clear Mind, we will never have enough power to return home and collapse the Root of Delusion.”
With deepest reverence, we bow in sincere gratitude to the Two Awakened Ones whose rare presence in this life reveals the Awakened Source has always existed and that they can guide our return. This renews the strength and determination in each of us vowing to return to the Awakened Source in this very lifetime, to become a Living Buddha, liberate the ego system, and to continue the Great Vow of the Two Awakened Ones to help Awaken all beings. 🙏🙏🙏🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️
