​Eco-Spirit summer camp teaches youngsters to create art from nature

A summer camp for children to explore nature, and enjoy some exercise in open spaces is taking place at the Alameda Gardens. Eco-spirit is now in its tenth year of educating children in the outdoors. The little ones have been creating their own pieces of art, as well as enjoying the martial art of Capoeira. The camp runs for four weeks.

Eco-spirit focuses on connecting youngsters with nature. Children collecting natural items from around the park to create artworks, practice mindfulness and discuss the environment.

Coronavirus has put most of the world on pause, but it hasn't stopped the next generation from learning how to care for our planet.
