Not every day sawing comes out with nice lumber . A great sawyer told me a long time ago "You can't make good boards from bad logs but you can make bad boards from good logs . I didn't like this log from the start IT HAD A BOW IN IT ,. I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER BUT STUPID ENOUGH TO TRY . I am going to make a diagram to explain why in the video after the next . You we see why after you see the next one i have already made . I do not think there was 1 good board from all this sawing . It was a 15 foot log with a 3 inch sweep . i have several times cut them in 1/2 that almost elemates the sweep and you will get decent lumber but i needed 15 foot boards . watch the next video it made things better . got to go make a chart showing why not to cut curved logs and what they do john
