Fastpitch Leaping vs. Replant

Rule changes are now starting to allow “both feet leave the ground” however, they are not allowing a “replant.” The above describes the deference between the two as while both feet leaving the ground is legal, replanting in most places is considered not. While both allow air under the back foot, the ultimate call will be left with the umpire and what they are able to see from their position.
