Learn about the normal anatomy of the medial meniscus and its capsular attachment with the meniscocapsular ligament and the meniscotibial ligament. In this video, we focus on the anatomy before we have a look into the pathology and the so-called ramp lesion in next week's video. Ramp lesions are important and frequently missed on MRI. Up to 24% of ACL tears have ramp lesions, so we all have missed at least several, I'd guess. However, it is important as they sometimes need surgical repair. Some of them are named hidden lesions.
