Two children of the same father were fighting. They called on their father's archenemy to settle it. Gladly, he accepted their calls. Guess how their father's archenemy settled the fight. He broke the neck of the first child and punctured the two eyes 👀 of the second brother.

The remaining children, instead of coming together to challenge their father's archenemy for the wicked acts, they started bickering and fighting on who was right or wrong between the two warring brothers. It led to heated debates among them.

While they were arguing in the family house, their father's archenemy quietly torched their father's house. Before they got a glimpse of the looming danger, the fire had turned to a conflagration (large fire), which became uncontrollable to quench.

Gradually, the fire started burning down the family house till it was completely razed. None of the brothers was able to quench the raging inferno, because all the energy they ought to have used to put the fire out had been wasted on fighting one another. They were too weak to fight the fire.

Sadly, their family house was burnt. None of the children could escape from the family house. The two fighting brothers died. Other children, including the silent and biased family elders, died in the fire. They were all consumed by the fire. The entire family was obliterated and wiped out.

Eventually, the archenemy succeeded. He achieved his destructive goals. He conquered his enemies, not by his personal might, but by the folly and uncanniness of the warring family members. Should we blame the enemy? No!

All the blames are on those brothers who called on their archenemy to settle their family's misunderstanding. May God bestow on us the wisdom to put our family affairs in order before our enemies, who disguise as mediators, intervene.
