In this session, I start a full beat from scratch using Ableton Move and a single drum kit made of one-shots. Working at 130 BPM, I lay down a classic 4/4 kick, add a bassline that locks in with the rhythm, and build the track live using the 16-Note Layout. By pitching and triggering samples in real time, I explore a hands-on way of creating grooves, textures, and melodic elements, without any pre-sequenced clips or instruments.
