About the test:
Peugeot comes with not just one, but two hot new versions of its successful 308, a 250-hp version and a fully-loaded 270-hp version. The more powerful edition has been taken care of by its sport department Peugeot Sport and features: a Torsen limited-slip differential, sportier bucket seats, bigger front brakes by Alcon (380mm) and impressive 19-inch wheels. The car will reach 0-100 (km/h) in 6 seconds dead and has a top speed of 250 (km/h); those are serious figures. The car has all the elements needed for good trackday driving and will probably leave more powerful cars in its rear-view mirror thanks to its ace front axle. But Peugeot has also upped its game with a good looking interior that features the price-winning i-Cockpit design and materials that look and feel pretty good. On top of that the stiff body structure copes very well with the higher torque and power output it now has.
