We follow a number of men of the First Special Service Force from their training at Fort Harrison near Helena to their battles in Europe during World War II. Predecessors of soldiers in today's special forces, these American and Canadian men were dubbed "The Devil's Brigade" by the Germans. After the war, many of them settled in and near Helena.
