Lagawe is the capital of Ifugao province, as well as its transportation hub. From Lagawe, one can go to many destinations within Ifugao such as Banaue, Kiangan, Asipulo, Hungduan, Mayoyao, Aguinaldo and Anfonso Lista to experience the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Ifugao people, as well as its magnificent rice terraces (5 of which are included on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage sites) and many beautiful natural attractions. There is a central terminal in Lagawe that serves these destinations. The terminal also has several eateries, coffee shops, and a very clean rest room.
To get to Lagawe, we booked a trip with Coda Lines from Cubao. The bus actually goes all the way to Sagada passing through Lagawe and Banaue.
