I volunteered at the 2025 Stagecoach Line 100 ultramarathon and mountain bike race, working at the Hull Cabin aid station (mile 80) in the Kaibab National Forest. This video shows some of the bikers rolling through and the first runner arriving at the station.
Race highlights:
True Brown shattered the course record by over 2 hours
Jeff Browning, usually known for his ultrarunning, decided to pedal 100 miles on the bike this year
About the Stagecoach Line 100:
The Stagecoach Line 100 follows portions of the Arizona Trail (AZT)—a historic 800-mile route stretching from Mexico to Utah. The race gets its name from the old stagecoach line that once connected the Grand Canyon’s South Rim to Flagstaff. Runners and bikers travel through high desert, ponderosa forests, and rugged canyons, testing their endurance on one of Arizona’s most scenic and challenging trails.
It was an incredible experience to witness the grit and determination of the athletes and to be part of the volunteer team supporting them deep in the forest.
Location: Hull Cabin Aid Station, Mile 80
Event: 2025 Stagecoach Line 100 (on the AZT)
