India's “Secret” Nuclear Submarine Base | Vantage with Palki Sharma | N18G

India is making a nuclear submarine base in Ramballi in the State of Andhra Pradesh. It will be made south of the Indian Navy’s Eastern Command in Visakhapatnam. This base will house all of India’s nuclear submarines including the INS Arihant, the INS Arighaat and the INS Aridhaman. This base has been under construction for nearly a decade and will allow nuclear submarines to stay submerged while docking into port which will also remain hidden because it is underground. This base will add to India’s second strike capabilities as New Delhi continues to maintain a No-First-Use nuclear policy, even though Pakistan has a First-Use nuclear policy.
