The History Of Halloween Part I - 'The Night He Came Home.'

'Halloween' is a word that can mean many things to many people. Some may instantly picture skeletons and witches in their mind's eye, others may be drawn to candy and oversized spiderwebs in the bushes of their neighbor's yard. For me, and many others, though, the word has a totally different connotation. Skeletons, witches and jack o'lanterns do come to the forefront, sure, but not before the storied horror film franchise that began in 1978. 'Halloween,' for me, conjures flashes of the man called 'The Shape.' Michael Myers, Laurie Strode, Dr. Loomis and many others call this series home, and over the next six months, we're going to call it home as well.

This is merely the beginning of 'The History Of Halloween,' this is part one of a five part series, so, be sure to stick around for the entire affair. I mean, it is Halloween, after all. I think everyone's entitled to one good scare.
