This is Idre Fjällmaraton 2024 — Sweden’s toughest mountain marathon, and my battle to finish it unfueled.

Follow my journey through the Swedish mountains — from the starting line in Idre Fjäll to the peaks of Nipfjället and Städjan, with endless climbs, muddy trails, and moments of pure exhaustion. You’ll see the highs, the lows, and the breathtaking scenery that makes this race unforgettable.

As a bonus, we also visit:
• Njupeskär – Sweden’s highest waterfall, dropping an incredible 93 meters
• Old Tjikko – the world’s oldest known tree, a 9,500-year-old clonal spruce
