The Dark Side Project - Vol. 6 [2025] (The Final Stage: 'Vault' Extension Edits)

This is my last installment of the "Dark Side (Fully Loaded 1998)" remakes/edits I've worked on and updated since September 2012, and also when it comes to remakes and major editing projects, this is my last ride. This video features my edit recreating the original concept (used on July 26, 1998 during 'In Your House 23: Fully Loaded' PPV) using the clip from WWE Vault's YouTube channel. However check the link below because edits of v2 and v3 are included as well, along with exit versions (from Raw Is War July 27, 1998 through August 10, 1998).

They're not perfect, however, I like how they've turned out and I will not be going back to redo these based on anyone's laundry list of mistakes to update them again and again, just to have those updates ignored or disregarded. I also don't care if you got exclusive clips from that leech ThemeTitan from about 3 minutes in or whether the track is longer.

Process:
MVSEP has been a big help to create these edits and do clean stem splits (thanks to being put onto the music separation sight by some buddies in the messaging circles or forums). Crowd removal helped big time with the intros for v1 & v2 and I reenforced the choir/solo with pieces of my remake. To patch the cycles together, I went along the lines of the Uncaged version...v3 was the tougher one to do, because the drums were mastered a bit differently, so I used parts of v4's drums and rebuilt with the Uncaged v3 version to match, and then worked out my guitar filters. Then used violin stabs from v4 to make it sound as close as I can to the arena version.

In the Meantime:
If I'm ever able to get around to redoing v4 and v5, I will add them to this folder and maybe do a video featuring those versions. This is my final remake project and it's fitting that if I'm done, Taker's theme concept is the sort of burial of this hobby for me. If I live to do any more edits, I will share accordingly, but for now, I'm pretty much done and sort of burned out for good. Consider this my parting gift of acknowledgement and thanks. You've been good enough to help me continue getting better, with your tips, insights and words of encouragement.
