Another Broken Woman for Sam to Fix! We Can Fix Her Bro! Death Stranding 2 #8

Only problem is, she acts like a literal baby! Red flag!

We started off last stream completing some of our leftover side deliveries which took much longer than I expected. The Sheizz just kept piling up it was crazy, but we finally go to accept our next mission! The Northern Environmental Observatory was running out of supplies as conditions in the surrounding area were getting worse and worse. Their equipment was beginning to malfunction so we needed to deliver a massive aid package. There was a bandit camp kind of in the way, but we drove around and made the delivery!

We hook up the facility to the network like normal. Right outside, however, a strange tar pit had opened up, and the president asked us to go check it out. When we approached it, we were drug into the tar by tar people and transported into a strange realm! There were hostile heavily armed tar people being lead by a dude that looks eerily similar to Solid Snake! We get into a massive firefight with them and take them all out! As the Solid Snake dude dies he explodes and we then see a woman trapped under some rubble as we go to help her! Before we can, we pass out and awake back in the normal world next to a chirally mummified body which just happened to be the same lady we found in that other realm! We bring her back to the Magellan!

Aboard the ship, Tarman and Fragile work to free her from the cocoon, and they discover that she has strange suction cup like needle things all over her body that shoot out aging tar! She wakes up, but doesn't have much to say.

We go back to check on her a second time and we walk in on her floating in the air! The team has discovered that she also has DOOMS and is able to connect with the beaches during her REM sleep. Her suction cup things are a result of some sort of chiral allergic reaction. She is still extremely weak, and does not want to talk.

We then received our next mission from Charlie which was to recover an assortment of heavy weaponry and explosives that a brigand camp was able to acquire. Somehow, they were able to figure out that there was cargo in the tar currents, and it seems as though they're manipulating the currents in order to get more cargo! We need to stealthily take back the weapons from the camp! We sneak in, take a couple out, and retrieve the weapons no problem!

We then go to check on the strange lady once again whom the team has decided to name Tomorrow. She again is awake, but does not want to talk. In fact, she is acting like a literal baby throwing a hissy fit and sucking her thumb! Very strange, but we decide to leave her be.

We then went to continue our read of Moby Dick where we find a picture of Tarman with his son. We decide to bring the picture back to Tarman where he tells us the story of how he lost his son and his hand! His son and he were on a research expedition in the tar fields where they were capturing and observing chiral mammals, the dolphins that have been falling from the sky! After catching one, it opened up and a bunch of tar people emerged and tried to take Tarman's son into the tar abyss! Although he struggled his hardest to save his son, he was lost to the tar along with Tarman's hand that had also made contact with the tar! He still believes his son to be out there somewhere, possibly the cat is his son reincarnated!

Let's complete some aid requests and then get our next assignment!
