In this Shavuot-themed series, we will look at how oaths, vows and covenant are a central theme to the Feast of Shavuot.

In the second part, we look at the role of the apostles during and after the Feast of Shavuot almost 2,000 years ago and how this applies to us today. What was, and is, the Good News? How does it relate to the covenant made with Abraham and to us today? Why are apostles required and what are the requirements for being one? Are apostles a thing of the past? And what role will the 144,000 fulfil at the end of this age?
