I'm a huge Persona fan, with over 300 hours in Persona 5 alone. So when Persona 5: The Phantom X was announced, I couldn't wait and dove straight in, playing every chance I got and even spending money on it. The game has so many bright spots—the music, the combat, the characters—but it's all undone by the single biggest mistake a gacha game can make. This video is my therapy session , explaining why a game with so much potential felt like it willingly threw my time out the window , and why you're better off just playing the original masterpiece instead.
