The Lone Star NYE 2025 show was pre-taped in Dallas, Texas on december 5th and aired at 11:30 pm on december 31st, 2024 on NBC Dallas Fort Worth, and selected NBC stations around the US. On NBC DFW, most songs aired before the countdown at midnight, then there was a 10 min fireworks show from the Reunion Tower in Dallas, then The Jacksons came back on with one last song, "This place hotel".

The usual setlist for a Jacksons concert is as follows:

(Occasional encore: Wanna be startin' somethin')

Some of these songs were rehearsed (such as "Show you the way to go") and even performed on december 5th, but didn't air on the NBC Dallas feed on New Year's Eve. It appears that "Shake your body" was taped and aired on some stations around the country, while the fireworks at the Reunion Tower in Dallas was being shown on the local NBC in Dallas. Some songs were even taped twice (Can you feel it, I'll be there) with different costumes and background, to be aired on different TV stations.
It's unclear how many songs were taped and then cut for time.

Because I recorded the NBC Dallas feed, I don't have the other songs that may have been shown elsewhere in the US.

According to Taj Jackson, his brother Taryll took a break from performing with the Jacksons after the tribute concerts to his father in Atlantic City, NJ and Cleveland, OH. He is on a hiatus and hasn't decided yet if he'll be back with the band in 2025
