Week 3 of Hourglass 1.0 is here and we are starting it off with a 50 minute total body strength workout designed to build muscle, release fat cells and increase your resting metabolism. Resistance training has been shown to trigger the release of fat cells by creating signaling molecules called extracellular vesicles, which instruct fat cells to release all that stored energy to be used as fuel.
In order to do so we need to try and get each rep close to failure so today, each exercise will be repeated twice in sets of two. Another vital component is mind muscle connection so focus on performing each rep with intension and your best form.

Equipment needed:
-dumbbells 3kg/ 6.6lb, 5kg/ 11lb, 10kg, 22lb
-non slip mat
